Since Russell's win at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games, he has been involved with several television and radio programs. Russell worked as a part of 3AW Sports Sunday team from 1997 to 2002. In this time he also had the opportunity to be a presenter on 3AW's current affair program on Sunday afternoon's. His experience as a sports broadcaster has widened his opportunities into other areas of the media. You might also have seen him on 'Celebrity Squares', 'A Question of Sport' or 'The Panel'.
